All inclusive - yes or no?

In the news is that Spanish hotels may stop offering all inclusive options due to false compensation claims for food poisoning. Personally, I’d rather book self catering and eat out to try the local eateries, but I can see how all inclusive is a good option for families with children, or people who just want to chill out at the hotel and not explore further afield. So, would you go all inclusive or not, and why?
